References
- 2reNDu mATalu ADu – go back on one’s word. Please also refer to Kriti 'oka mATa' - rAga hari kAmbhOji, wherein Sri Tyagaraja praises Lord Rama as one who is true to his word.
Commentary
- 1yOcana – In some books this has been translated as 'hesitation'. This Telugu word and the same Tamil word 'yOsanai', though colloquially used to mean 'hesitation', the actual meaning is 'deliberation' 'reflection' etc.
